It is with great sadness to inform that The King of Thailand HM BHUMIBOL ADULYADEJ has passed away peacefully on 13 October 2016.
The entire Thai nation is in great grief and an emotional period now. We send our deepest condolences to all for the loss of their great HM The King.
Thai stock market, all government and businesses remains open while all private sectors will decide based on each own discretion.
The Thai government has announced to cancel and avoid all festivities celebration. All entertainment activities will be suspended or must be toned down for 30 days of mourning. The state sector will observe a year of mourning from 14 October 2016.
All tourists should respect the feelings and sensitivities of the Thai people at this time; access to entertainment, including restaurants, bars, and shopping areas may be restricted and you should behave respectfully when in public areas; if possible, wear sombre and respectful clothing when in public; check local media regularly and follow the advice of the local authorities.
For now, we still unable to know the full impact of this unprecedented situation in Thailand’s history but will monitor the relevant news closely over the followings and keep all updated.
We will make sure all clients in the country or arriving into Thailand have all services provided as they planned and be in contact with all local guides and suppliers to update clients accordingly.
There might be some disruption on visits to key tourist areas as some official sites might be close to public and visitors.
